Cadence is an open-source code platform and workflow management system originating at Uber. It is designed to simplify the construction and operation of large-scale distributed systems such as food delivery services or ride-sharing apps. In this webinar, Technology Evangelist John Del Castillo will build a small distributed application in Java. One example will use Cadence and one will use native Java paradigms, and we will illustrate the features and tools available to developers when using Cadence. Finally, we will evaluate what advantages Cadence has over the native Java solution, and study the efficiency we can gain when using Cadence to develop our distributed applications.
